“Sometimes the Ford Bronco will hesitate to move from a stop position especially when the auto start and stop has been engaged during periods of driving. Also the vehicle hesitated when trying to change lanes. I had to push gas peddle all the way down in order to get into another lane. Several times the light is green for me to go and there is several seconds of hesitation and then the vehicle would go. “225/65 R 17 A small sliver of wood Punctured the sidewall which is unbelievable that a tire would be that weak from what appears to be a blunt puncture on a Ford Bronco Sport made for all kinds of off and on road driving conditions and something as small as a flattened tooth pick would be sufficient as a safe tire. Looking at continental tires track record with sidewall rubber structural issues I suspect this is another defect and should be investigated and recalled before causing property damage ,serious injury or death due to sidewall issues .”

How we read this (methodology)
How to read this: raw complaint totals are not a clean reliability score — a model year with more cars sold, or simply more years on the road, accumulates more complaints regardless of how good it is. So this page leans on two signals that are not distorted by sales volume: the share of complaints falling on each vehicle system (the breakdown above) and NHTSA's own crash / fire / injury / death flags. When we compare model years of the same model, we normalise by years on the road (complaints ÷ vehicle age) rather than comparing raw totals. Age-normalised, the 2024 Ford Bronco Sport draws about 31.7 complaints per year on the road, ranking 4 of 4 among the Ford Bronco Sport model years we have ingested (1 = most complaints per year on road).
Before you buy this Ford Bronco Sport
Don't buy on the strength of a problems page alone. Check the exact VIN of the car you're looking at. The open recalls are free, and the full $19 safety report pulls every complaint, safety rating and a downloadable PDF for that one vehicle.
