“The OEM Hankook Dynapro HP2 tires (size 225/60R17 99H, DOT 15MJF BU HA 2523) installed on a 2024 Chevrolet Trax developed premature tread wear and sidewall weakness well before half of their rated 65,000-mile life. At approximately 33,900 miles, one tire suffered a nail puncture in the sidewall and was confirmed irreparable by Discount Tire in Houston, TX. The shop also noted uneven tread wear consistent with early degradation. The condition creates an elevated risk of tire failure or blowout during regular driving.
