“VEHICLE WITH 72,000 MILES. A WEEK PRIOR, THE DRIVER SEAT BELT ALERT LIGHT AND BEEP STARTED TO ALERT. VEHICLE TAKEN TO A LOCAL DODGE DEALER AND WE WERE TOLD THAT VEHICLE NEEDED A NEW SEAT BELT SYSTEM AND THE TOTAL COST WAS $759.00 I ASKED IF THAT FAULTY SEAT BELT SYSTEM WAS TO BE REPLACED UNDER THE WARRANTY SINCE VEHICLE WAS NOT EVEN FIVE YEARS OLD NOR MORE THAN 100K MILES. DEALER EXPLAINED THAT ONLY WARRANTY FOR SEAT BELT MALFUNCTION WAS UNTIL 36K MILES. I SHOULD NOT PAID FOR A FAULTY SEAT BELT AND DODGE SHOULD HAVE COVERED OR CHECK IF A RECALL NEEDS TO BE DONE.”
